Pet sitting and Dog walking

I’ve been super excited to add this side to my business, I am a huge animal lover, as a family, we all are. I’ve had pets all of my life – dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, mice, hamsters, snakes and a bearded dragon, as well as loaning horses and ponies, currently loaning 16 year old Blue, practically a real life unicorn, the beautiful little Welsh pony that he is.

We also have Peppa the pooch at home, cute little Shorkie (Shih-Tzu x Yorkie) shes 10 and totally adorable.

All dog walking is solo /same household dogs walked together, unless you have a single dog and you would like them to have the company of Peppa, in that case I can bring her along.

If you wish for us to take your pooch on for day care or home boarding, I would first arrange to come and tag along with you on a walk with our Peppa so we can introduce both dogs, we do only take single dogs at a time at the moment for day care and home boarding.

Any dog coming into our home must be vaccinated and treat for fleas and worms and not showing any signs of infestation, we also can’t take them in if they are displaying any signs of sickness, cough etc.

Dog Walking

If you need a hand exercising your pooch during the week, I offer both 30 minute and 1 hour leg stretches, for a 30 minute tootle out, I will stay close to your home, if you would like me to take them out of your neighbour in the hour slot, I would need to include travelling time to the desired destination within the hour slot, of course anywhere within Fleetwood, Thornton and Cleveleys the beach is only ever a short drive away, or else we have plenty of other alternatives such as parks, woods, the estuary etc.

30 mins – £11 (£3 extra for each additional dog from the same household)

1 hour – £15 (£5 extra for each additional dog from the same household)

Pet pop-in’s / Feeding visit

literally a nip in, up to 15 mins (ish), to let cats in or out for example, fresh food and water, tend to small pets etc, give a liittle fuss of them, I can only offer these visits exclusively to Fleetwood.

Doggy Day-Care & Overnight Home Boarding

I can promise you, your pooch will be made to feel a part of the family for their entire stay, however long that will be – a day, a night or a week or so whilst you’re on your jollies. I will keep in regular contact with you, sending you regular updates with pictures , as reassurance so you know they are having a great time and very much safe and happy, walked as much or as little as they need with a healthy balance of enrichment and rest.

I am only currently taking 1 dog at a time for day care and home boarding, Happy to accept entire males, I am more concerned with temperament and behaviour.

Day care – £25 – up to 10 hours (Additional £5 for bank holidays)

Home Boarding – £35 – per 24 hours (Additional £5 for bank holidays)

Explorer days

Your pooch will be taken off on an adventure for the day, to the likes of the lakes or the Trough of Bowland etc, they will be transported by a secured crate, or a seat belted harness if that is what you would prefer, either way I shall ensure they are safe and comfortable and stops will be arranged along the way so that they can have a stretch and a toilet break, I will make sure they have the most memorable day, and will try my best too return them as clean as possible, I will take plenty of pictures for you.
